Happy New Year!  2011 is going to be an incredible year for the LMS Band Program!!

    6th grade Band:
The test piece for this Thursday, January 6, is #1 on page 42.  Also, Keep working through page 37, Accent on Scales!

Pieces to keep in your folder for a performance in the spring: “First Concert March”, “March of the Spartans”, “Eagle Summit March”, “Intensity” & “Affirmation”. Try working as far ahead in your book as you can get.  Remember to always play with a good tone and great rhythm!!! There is a real nice solo on page 34 in your book that you should start working on.

    7th and 8th grade Bands:

8th –  Forest Brook Overture, The Impossible Machine – You have other music already and we will continue to work on those pieces.  I will let you know your test piece for Thursday when we return on Monday.
