Excellent job everyone!! I am so very proud of all of you. Keep up the great work!!
Thank you to all of the chaperones as well! Without your willingness to help out we wouldn’t be able to take part in these kinds of activities.

    6th grade Band:
(You ALL need to be sure to sign up for 7th Grade Band when the forms come out from Mrs. Cartwright!!! – You’re AWESOME and need to continue next year!)

The rest of the week will work through more pages in the book and start working on more music for our next concert in May. We will use this week for any make-up tests and take our normal Thursday test over #4 on page 37. Also, always keep working through the rest of page 37, Accent on Scales and the solo page!

Work really hard to get “Sousa Spectacular” and “Enchanted Wizard” down cold!

Keep all of the pieces we have played this year (with the exception of the winter holiday pieces) in your folder so we can perform them at the Pullman Community Garden Spring Fair!

    6th grade Jazz Band:

This band is open to all 6th grade band students and meets on Mondays and Fridays to get ready for our concert on May 19. We’re off to a great start! Practice “Switch-a-Roonie”, “Willo’ Wisp” & “Time to Go”.

7th and 8th grade Bands: Congratulations on your wonderful performances last Thursday!

    8th –
(You ALL need to be sure to sign up for the PHS Band Program when the forms come out from Mrs. Cartwright!!! – You’re AWESOME and need to continue next year and be a part of that great program!)

We will use this week for any make-up tests. Continue working on Canadian Trilogy (we will perform this with the high school band at the dessert fundraiser – April 13), Forest Brook Overture – You have other music already and we will continue to work on those pieces.

    7th/8th Jazz Band I:
